Eat & Drink

Coasterra

Best view of downtown and the coconut margs are a MUST try

June Shine

Thanks to a couple of our Chicago besties, the Popes, we can’t get enough boozy ‘buch!

June Shine is our favorite, which just so happens to be based in SD.

*Patios are dog friendly

Mr. A’s Restaurant

Perfect downtown rooftop to relax and watch the planes land (very closely) at SAN.

Little Italy

Can’t go wrong here, all the restaurants are wonderful!

*Patios are dog friendly

The Brigantine

One of our favorite spots for fish and shrimp tacos.

There are multiple locations, but we love the Del Mar one, which overlooks the Racetrack and dog beach.

*Patio is dog friendly

Cordiano Winery

This hidden gem winery is well worth the drive.

VG Donut & Bakery

Back when we called SD home, the Demos crew couldn’t get enough of the

maple glazed donuts from this awesome Cardiff bakery.

Heads up, pre-ordering is key!

Raised by Wolves

Swanky speakeasy for our cocktail fans

Activities & Sightseeing

Safari Park

The Zoo is pretty great, but we’ve always been partial to the Safari Park due to its sprawling "enclosures" and research efforts. If you go, don't miss the African Tram - it really feels like you're on safari!

Visit Torrey Pines

If you want to bask in SD's perfect weather, both the golf course and State Reserve are right up the road from Estancia.

We are also working on a group golf rate, so please let us know if you’re interested in getting a round in.

Hike Torrey Pines

Visit the USS Midway

For all the history buffs out there, the USS Midway tour is fantastic

Del Mar Dog Beach

Perfect for anyone planning to bring their fur baby, which we would very much enjoy.

We'll see you there with Dan!

La Jolla Cove

Perfect place to walk off your lunch from downtown LJ.

Make sure to head down to the water to make some sea lion friends!

Sunset Cliffs

May be the best sunset spot in SD!

Also, this site is where several of our engagement pics were taken (see below).

Over the Border

For our wine loving guests, we highly recommend a day-trip across the border to

Mexico’s wine country (Valle de Guadalupe). A few restaurants and vineyards are listed below,

all of which are phenomenal. If you need any advice regarding transportation, border crossing procedures, etc.,

feel free to reach out to either of us.
